Objective: Users will vie to score the most total points among a team of six reality television participants.
Team Eligibility: Users may select up to six reality television participants at a time. Each week in which a contestant is cut, users will accumulate points for each player on his/her roster who has not been cut. If a user would like to alter his/her roster, he/she may do so, but all points earned by a player who is dropped will be lost for good. A maximum of six players will count toward a user’s final score.
Weekly Scoring: Users will receive points based on the episode of the program. The total number of scored episodes for any given show will be one less than the number of contestants. If no one is eliminated in an episode, then that episode will not be scored. If multiple people are eliminated in the same episode, they will all be scored under the same episode. To keep episodes in line, we will then immediately process a scoring episode without an elimination.
For example, if two people are eliminated during the sixth episode and one of them is on your team, you will not receive points for episode six even if your player is eliminated later in that episode. In this case, if none of your players are eliminated, you will receive credit for surviving the sixth and seventh elimination episode.
| Current Week | Points |
| 1 | 50 |
| 2 | 75 |
| 3 | 100 |
| 4 | 100 |
| 5 | 100 |
| 6 | 100 |
| 7 | 100 |
| 8 | 100 |
| 9 | 105 |
| 10 | 115 |
| 11 | 120 |
| 12 | 125 |
| 13 | 250 |
There are a total of 1440 points possible through weekly scoring if a user selects the winning reality contestant before Week 1 and does not release him/her at any point throughout the game.
Bonuses: There will be two types of bonuses for users who achieve different milestones.
- The first bonus will be given to any user who correctly chooses the winning contestant and does not release him/her from the team at any point. This bonus will be worth 300 points. This makes the top score for any roster spot (given a 13-week show) 1,740 points when taking into account weekly points and bonus (1) points. This bonus encourages users to stick with contestants whom they have had from the beginning in case the contestant wins the show.
- The second bonus concerns the entire six-contestant roster as a whole. For every five total weeks on the final roster that a user has a contestant who is not eliminated, the user will earn 100 points. For instance, if a user correctly guesses three weeks for one contestant, two weeks for another contestant and no weeks for anyone else, he/she will earn 100 bonus (2) points. This bonus encourages users to maximize the number of correct weeks over the course of the entire game.
Tie-Breakers: In the event of a tie score among users, users will be ranked based on the following tie-breakers, where tie-breakers are used in sequence until the tie is broken:
- User with most total weeks among six active players without elimination will win.
- User with most total game/show winners of six active players will win.
- User with least amount of roster changes throughout the course of the season will win.
- The user of those tied who first submit their picks will win.
- Coin flip.
*Note: For reality television shows that follow this cutting format but make more or less than 13 cuts, we will use a slightly modified version of the above table to determine the week’s score. The final week will always be worth 250 points.
